After a busy day out and about, Kirsten Dunst was spotted as she stopped for a drink of water in New York City earlier today (June 6).
The 29-year-old actress kept it casual for her day in the Big Apple, wearing a beige sweater, blue jeans, and black sandals while doing her best to beat the summer heat.
The sighting comes as Kristen, who stars in "Melancholia," has spoke out in defense of the film's director, Lars Von Trier, who was thrown out of the Cannes Film Festival after telling reporters that he could understand Hitler.
Commenting on the matter, Dunst explained, ?It just came out wrong, that?s not Lars at all."
Continuing to defend her director, Kirsten told, "He was trying to make people laugh by telling the story of his life but it was not the right audience for it. He doesn?t speak English that often, he?s been in Denmark for a long time. It just didn?t translate well."
