Dr. Conrad Murray's mother says she's "suffering" from overwhelming sadness because her only son is incarcerated -- and has begged the judge to go easy on the Doc when it comes to his sentence.

Mrs. Milta Rush sent a letter to Judge Pastor -- explaining why Murray deserves mercy ... because he's a good person who has "never drank alcohol, took drugs or smoked cigarettes in his life."

Milta explains, "He has never been in trouble with the law before and I am barely standing, scared and worried sick about him being incarcerated."

"He is saddened and remorseful about the death of his friend Michael Jackson and I do believe he is certainly learning the toughest lesson of his life."

Milta continues, "I sympathize with Mrs. Jackson as a mother; I feel her pain for having lost her son. I sense she was very close to her son. I really wanted to approach her personally and tell her I am sorry for the loss of her son but I was unsure if she would be receptive, and I did not want to take the chance of violating the courts rules. I am sorry for her loss."

Clarke Wrote To The Daily News Saying "I am not looking for sympathy from anyone, nor am I looking for any favors, all I want is a fair trial to prove that I am innocent.?

David Clarke was in prison for four years for a crime he did not commit. Clarke spent years trying to plead for his innocence and no one was listening. He was a National Honor Society student on his way to college, where he was a sure thing to receive a scholarship.

To fight for his freedom, he sent one letter after another begging anyone to look into his case.

"I feel like I'm trapped in a system that was designed to try to keep me in jail rather than find justice," he said last year. "I am not looking for sympathy from anyone, nor am I looking for any favors, all I want is a fair trial to prove that I am innocent."

Later down the road, in March of this year, Clarke was given a trial before his peers. The trial lasted a month, but the jury took just 20 minutes to let the judge know that they believed that the young man didn't do anything wrong.

Unfortunately, David's reality came crashing down this week, as a seemingly meaningless, unrelated incident lead to the murder of the 23-year old Bronx native. His death was not, according to his family, related to his murder trial.

Dawn got into the Holiday spirit recently when she released a sweet song about missing loved ones during the Holidays. She wrote and produced "December Sky" alongside Druski (who she also did "SMFU" with). Check out her new promo pics.

"Whether they are serving in Iraq/Iran, in the industry or working a 9 to 5, the truth is a lot of us aren't able to make it home for the holidays. The Maybach Music boys are the feature of the upcoming issue of Billboard magazine. After a good start by Wale and an upcoming much awaited LP from CEO Rick Ross, the MMG is making headlines everywhere. Here's their quotes:

RICK ROSS QUOTES

On his health:

One month later, Ross says that he “feels great,” and although rumors abound about his physical state, he chalks up the scares to a “lack of sleep.”

“It could have been a lot worse,” Ross adds of the health scare. “So I’m just thankful. I feel good—and I’m back on my grind already.”

About his new album, “God Forgives, I Don’t”:

“This album is almost like a movie,” Ross says. “I wanted [the title] to be something that was extremely emotional, to set up a real roller coaster ride as far as the music and thought process. It sounds like a term of retaliation, and with the picture that I’m painting, it felt perfect.”

On Maybach’s business model:

“I’ve most definitely been a fan of Hov and his whole movement,” Ross says of Jay-Z. “He gave a blueprint to a lot of young entrepreneurs, as well as Wayne, with how active Wayne is with artists. There’s a lot of different approaches, but at the end of the day, we’ve . . . just got to be hands-on and walk our own path.”

On having faith in Wale’s talent despite poor album sales:

Ross says that he could see the passion in Wale’s rhymes, and the poor sales of Attention Deficit didn’t deter him from offering Wale a deal. “It wasn’t about hype, and it wasn’t about past success,” Ross says. “It was about who Wale was as an MC—an incredible MC—that made me a fan. I felt we could make history together.”

On the success of “Ambition”:

“It’s not surprising,” Wale ways coolly of the victory. “I knew I could do it.”

On label boss Rick Ross:

“I was on his radar,” Wale says. “Ross had the vision from the start.”

On getting good advice from Jay-Z:

“Jay-Z, essentially, is my business adviser,” Wale says. “Him, Rich and [Roc Nation’s] John Meneilly. I know Jay has a personal place in his heart for Ambition. I remember one time I was on the phone with Jay, asking him, ‘What did I do [wrong]? What can I do differently?’ He was like, ‘Maybe you just didn’t come with that single. You made a solid first album. But you didn’t come up with that single.’ That just added fuel to my fire.”

His take on rap music:

“[Rappers] used to take pride in being the best or becoming the best. Now they just talk about who has the most swag. But who wants to be the best?” he asks. Wale really wants to know. “Come to the table with your albums. I nailed it this time. I’ll keep busting my ass until . . . you’re going to have to respect me. I love hip-hop so much, and I’m really a humble dude. We’re all cocky inside our records—because that’s how rap is.”

Semhar Tadesse -- the first person booted from this season of "Survivor" -- has been charged with DUI ... a month after she was popped in L.A. on suspicion of drunk driving.

TMZ broke the story ... Semhar was pulled over on October 27 after allegedly running a red light. Cops administered a field sobriety test and Semhar allegedly blew a .14 ... nearly twice the legal limit in California.
Semhar was charged with two misdemeanor counts of DUI last week -- one for driving under the influence, and one for driving with blood alcohol level of .08 or higher.

Jason Taylor has made a living out of chasing down quarterbacks -- now the NFL star is trying to chase down the man he says bilked him out of more than a quarter of a million dollars!
According to a lawsuit filed back in August, Taylor claims he gave $500,000 to a man named Eric Kim, who told Taylor he was an experienced securities investor. Taylor alleges Kim promised to invest the money on Taylor's behalf, and would do so without charging any fees ... except for 10% of whatever profits he made.
But alas ... Taylor says from August 2009 until March 2011, Kim "misappropriated" $275,269.10 of the money Taylor gave him. According to Taylor, Kim wrote 37 checks from the account he set up with Taylor's money ... 32 of which were either made out to Kim himself or to his good friend "cash."

"I think it's when I shaved my sides off. I like less hair on my head. It was a great way to dance and not have the weight on the side of my head. It looked good and punky and funky. It was a rebellious, permanent accessory.

You had a public feud with Diddy. Where do you stand with him now?

"He's my brother. At the time [of our feud] I didn't know I was getting popular. He was reacting and was trying to keep me in a state of mind where I didn't know. I don't let anyone disrespect me...he came at me. I went on my own way. It was great. We spent a year developing our relationship...I was really happy when he called me."

ON LADY GAGA.....

What is it about Lady Gaga that got people so enamored with her?

"I think they are enamored by the movement of it. She allowed my gift to do what it does...She broke through and allowed it all to happen. She's so brave. She's so fearless. Some artists, they won't let go. She''ll let got. A lot of the time I work with artists who are afraid."

A west Georgia business owner has been deluged with calls and emails after posting signs on his company?s trucks that say he?s not hiring anyone until President Barack Obama leaves office.
Waco-based U.S. Cranes LLC owner Bill Looman tells WXIA-TV (http://on.11alive.com/u8jDri) that reaction has been so intense he?s had to disconnect his phones and temporarily shut down the company?s website.
He posted the signs on his company?s trucks for other motorists to see on roads and interstates across the South. The signs proclaim ?New Company Policy: We are not hiring until Obama is gone.?
Looman says he?s not refusing to hire employees to make a political point. He told WXIA he can?t afford to hire anyone because of the economy, and he blames the people in power.
