Hunger in the Midlands is a serious and growing problem. While a single outreach initiative can not eradicate it, Bethlehem Baptist Church (BBC), 1028 Eastman Street in North Columbia, hopes to alleviate the situation through its Annual Thanksgiving Dinner for homeless individuals and families in need. This year?s event will be held Saturday, November 19th from 11 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the church?s Family Life Center. Sponsored by the Young Women?s Auxiliary (YWA), the dinner will reach well beyond the boundaries of the College Park Community where the church is located.
