On Friday, July 1, Mo? Betta Soul Magazine (www.mobettasoul.com) and the Columbia Museum of Art present Fight the Power: Hip-Hop Film series. This first installment will feature a hip-hop film, a lecture by producer 9th Wonder, performances and a hip-hop inspired art showing. This groundbreaking event will feature a line up of multi-media and multi talented artists. The event will take place at the Columbia Museum of Art, located at 1515 Main Street in Columbia. Doors will open at 6 pm. The cost for tickets is $10, and $8 for members of the museum.
