Bey talked about being a role model all her life--since she has a younger sister, she revealed that her fans actually named this new album, and more. Check it.
Meanwhile, rumors are swirling that Mrs. Knowles-Carter may be appearing on this upcoming season of "X-Factor UK," which her former groupmate Kelly Rowland is judging. Supposedly, Kelly tapped Beyonce to help her pick her choice of final 3 contestants to battle it out at the finale.
And it looks like Beyonce is joining the Academy! We all know her acting skills aint the bomb.com, but the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has invited her and 177 other artists to join the prestigious organization who is responsible for voting for the Academy Awards. There's over 6,000 member currently. The Associated Press reports:
Beyonce Knowles, Russell Brand, David Duchovny and "King's Speech" director Tom Hooper have been invited to join the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
Other invitees include actors Bradley Cooper, Gerard Butler, Mila Kunis, Jennifer Garner, Jesse Eisenberg and Ellen Page; "The Kids Are All Right" writer-director Lisa Cholodenko; writer Aaron Sorkin; Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige and the academy's new chief operations officer, Ric Robertson.
By the way, she posted the next single from her 4 album, "I Care," on her site today to continue the countdown to her LP release. She said about the album: "4 takes on matters of the heart with a mixture of ballads, mid- and up-tempos, all built aound classic songwriting."
