"Puss In Boots" ROBS "Tower Heist" Of #1 Box Office Spot, Takes In $32 Million

 

Although Tower Heist got off to a promising start on Friday, the family-flick Puss In Boots put on a strong showing and topped the overall box office.  Deets inside...

The DreamWorks animated film Puss in Boots pawed its way to number one at the box office this weekend, taking in $32 million.

It's victory signaled an upset for the Brett Ratner-directed Tower Heist starring Ben Stiller and Eddie Murphy, which took in $25.1 million.
