Hall of Fame Coach Willie Jeffries, Executive Director of the Palmetto Capital City Classic, introduced the participating teams and presented the respective head coaches for both teams to the media and the public at a press conference held in July.

For the past 10 years, the Palmetto Capital City Classic has been the ultimate Historically Black College and University (HBCU) football experience that brings fans together from across the state of South Carolina and the Southeast for a fantastic weekend of fun and football.
