Homeless Helping Homeless of Columbia (HHH) is throwing a Garden Party this Saturday, May 21st at 2pm in their Community Garden to celebrate their one year anniversary. Mayor Steve Benjamin will dedicate the HHH/Lyons Street Community Garden at the corner of Gervais Street and McDuffie Avenue, cut the ribbon and plant the first seedling in his own box. The members of HHH of Columbia will explain its mission, relate a short history and some will share their stories. The HHH singing group, Ambassadors of Christ, and others will provide music and there will be food after the brief program. HHH partners, sponsors, and supporters will be recognized for their contributions. The public is invited to the celebration.
